The Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme is closed and has been integrated into Research Ireland’s Empower programme. Empower awards funding at institutional level.

Graduate visa status
Eligible level 9 or higher graduates may receive Stamp 1G for up to 24 months in two 12-month blocks, subject to renewal conditions and the overall student-pathway limit.
